Can you handle our non-profit specifics?
Yes. Our systems were designed to accurately handle all special tax treatments of housing allowances, housing exemptions, Social Security, Medicare, and Federal tax reporting.
How do you do this?
We are a PEO (Professional Employer Organization). When a church signs on as a client, UPsource becomes the “Employer of Record” with all government agencies. You keep running your ministry the same as before. This legal tax structure allows us to take over those office tasks and transfer the risk and liability from your Church to UPsource.
How much will this cost?
Cost is based only on headcount and a quick quote is always free. Not only is this service cheaper than hiring another staff member, Churches that utilize UPsource are able to truly offload employment law liabilities.
Will I lose control of my employees?
No. Our contract explicitly limits what actions UPsource may perform with your organization. With regards to safety and employment law; however, UPsource does retain the rights to follow all applicable laws for The Church and its employees.
